Now on Facebook, Twitter... Dickinson ISD expands communication efforts through social media posts and tweets
Dickinson ISD is always looking for new and better ways to keep parents and the community informed about what is going on within the district. DISD has now joined over 900 million people and created Facebook and Twitter fan pages so people all over can keep up with what is going on within the district.
On Facebook, just go to www.facebook.com/dickinsonschools and "Like" us. On Twitter, follow us at #dickinsonisd and you will receive the latest information, the moment it happens from around the district.
"Social media is the quickest way to receive information right now, Communications Specialist Robby Robertson said. "We have some great ways to keep people informed here in Dickinson ISD and this will just add to that. I will be posting almost daily to Twitter and Facebook, if not multiple times a day, with the most up to date information."
If you have any questions about Dickinson ISD's social media efforts, contact Robertson at rrobertson@dickinsonisd.org.
