Gator Bytes Dickinson ISD E-News  Special E-News  4-2-12  GO GATORS!  APPEAL GRANTED DHS Boys Soccer Team is headed to the playoffs tonight    Dickinson ISD has just learned that the UIL has granted the district's appeal to allow the Dickinson High School Boys Soccer Team to advance to the playoffs. They will play Kempner High School at 6 p.m. tonight, April 2. The game will be held at Manvel High School in Alvin ISD. The Gators earned the third seed in District 24-5A after a win this past Wednesday night. However, they learned on Thursday that they were out of the playoffs because of Brazoswood having to forfeit their season because of an infraction. UIL rules moved Dickinson from third place to fifth place because of the other school's forfeiture. Dickinson ISD won an appeal at a meeting this morning moving them back into the playoffs.
