Oscar the bunny safe at last at Critter Camp! Oscar was found in Chicago in a closed trash can, yes he was literally thrown away. He was also covered in dozens of ticks. Oscar received medical attention at AWL and is now here to live in our free range Bunny Haven safe & happy the rest of his life!
Oscar would like to celebrate his freedom and new lease on life by asking you to vote every day in June so Critter Camp can help more animals!

Tyson the little male ratty was tossed into a tank with a 7 foot long boa to become said snake's lunch. However Mister Tyson is a fighter and he chose to be the eater not the eat-ee. When the owner came back to check he found that Tyson had gnawed off half the 7 foot snake's face & upper jaw! The snake lived, but is permanently disabled. (This is why you never ever feed live prey.) So the owner's girlfriend talked him into giving the rat one day to find a home or die. Luckily rescuer T grabbed him up & got him to Critter Camp. He is also missing two toes, likely from the scuffle or infection.

Ms June Bug, a very pregnant ratty.... not adoptable due to her delicate condition- she came from AWL in Chicago where they did not have room for her and her upcoming brood.
Mister Snuffy the hedgehog! He was a college student's pet , eventually left at the parent's house, they got tired of him after a few years. We don't think he's every had a wheel- hopefully he can get some exercise now!
