Little stray ferret found on a porch in the cold and rain! he was eating cat food set out for outdoor cats. He is balding and likely has adrenal at least and maybe more issues. But he is very friendly !
His name is Duke because he 'dooks' all the time!
Newest rescue bunny , he was at a garage sale, in a tiny cage, losing fur, walking funny with other health issues.... now he's safe here at Critter Camp! His name was Atlas, but he has such a huge head we may call him Buffalo Bill
New rescue ratty-adorable young girl who may have gotten herself into some - er- trouble as it were, any ideas for a name for this probable teen mom?
Sadly a few days ago we lost Lefty the one -earred rabbit to apparent stasis. Even though he was free range with plenty of exercise, unstressed, and had lots of grass hay and fresh greens he was taken to the bridge far too young. Then we watched his mate Righty carefully to see that she was adapting to his absence. She seemed to be fitting in with the other bunnies, but not truly settled, she was eating and seemed healthy, but then the other day she too was gone. No observable trauma or cause. It seems she merely missed him too much. It has been so very tragic. We are all devastated by their passing, but glad they at least had a couple of months free range , safe and happy here at Critter Camp's Bunny Haven.
