Attend the FREE 9/11 Memorial Program at Riverside Theatre.
The Indian River County Firefighters Association will present the 10th Annual 9/11 Memorial this coming Tuesday, September 11th. The theme of this year's program is "Remember to Never Forget," and will accentuate the fact that we Americans forget too quickly the price with which our freedom was won, and at which it is kept.
The featured speaker will be Col. Leonard J. DeFrancisci of the United States Marine Corps. You may be sure you will not soon forget what he has to say.
As in the past, the U.S. Navy Band from NAS Jacksonville will provide the musical entertainment, and those who have attended in the past will tell you this is an event not to be missed, as they're phenomenal!
TWO identical shows will be presented, at 4 and 7 pm, at the Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach. Tickets are FREE, but you must call for reservations or pick tickets up at the box office in advance. Call the Theatre at (772) 231-6990 for your tickets.

We're collecting Gatorade for the Gulf!
Our Military Moms need help in gathering up powdered Gatorade for sailors in the Persian Gulf. The tensions and conflict in the East may not be on the front pages any more, but the needs of our troops serving to keep the peace are still great. Please help by contributing a box of powdered Gatorade, which can be found on aisle #1 at Publix. Charlotte Howell is our "point person" here - her daughter is a Major, in Kuwait, serving as an ICU nurse.
