Indian River County's Firefighters presenting FREE 9/11 observance.
The Vero Beach Firefighters Association Inc., sponsors of the annual Firefighters Indian River County Fair, The Firefighter's Chili Cook Off and other community events in Indian River County, are proud to once again present "The Indian River County 9/11 Observance Ceremony" on Tuesday September 11, 2012. This event is free of charge to all who attend.
There will be two ceremonies held Tuesday evening at The Riverside Theatre located at 3250 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach, Florida, starting at 4:00pm and again at 7:00pm. (Deacon Lew will offer the Invocation and lead the Benedicton.)
This event will feature Honor Guards from local Fire and Law Enforcement agencies, along with guest speakers and music featuring the United States Navy Band Southeast from the Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida.
The ceremonies will last approximately one and one half hours, and be a solemn and dignified tribute to those who paid the ultimate price. This event is presented with honor by the Vero Beach Firefighters Association and Indian River County Fire Rescue Department, and we hope that you and your family can attend these ceremonies.
While admission is free of charge, tickets are required for admission. Tickets for both performances will be available at the Riverside Theatre Box Office for pickup or by calling the box office at (772) 231-6990.
Should you have any questions please feel free to contact Captain Joe Earman at 473-4395.
