SPACE COAST SYMPHONY KICKS OFF THE SUMMER WITH A FREE CONCERT
This coming Saturday, June 23rd at 2:00p.m. the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra wind players present "An All American Salute," honoring our great country. Aaron Collins conducts the wind orchestra with music by Bernstein, Williams, and Gershwin, as well as Blue Shades, by modern American composer, Frank Ticheli.
The women of the Space Coast Chorus will perform several numbers with the ensemble, including Hymn to the Fallen from the film, "Saving Private Ryan," and William Francis McBeth's Of Sailors and Whales, based on the novel Moby Dick. This free concert will also feature works that honor the men and women in the U. S. Armed Forces.
