Bishop Brewer will be here June 10th to confirm, receive, and reaffirm those who wish to make this formal step in the Episcopal Church. If you wish to be confirmed, you MUST attend. FOOD SUNDAY REPORT
The Salvation Army reports that our food collection this past weekend weighed in at 240 pounds.
This weight is significantly below our usual. I attribute this to my own failure to see that the proper announcements and promotions were made prior to the weekend. Please remember that as our numbers decrease in the summertime, the number of those who depend on The Salvation Army remain the same - so each of us should be a bit more mindful of the needs of others. You can bring canned goods, cereal, rice, or any other nonperishable food any time, and it WILL get to The food pantry in short order! Thank you for your generosity.
