VERO BEACH CHORAL SOCIETY

Vero Beach Choral Society presents Songs of Spring on Friday, April 13th (7:30 p.m.) and Sunday, April 15th (3:00 p.m.). The Vero Beach Choral Society will present its Spring concert, Songs of Spring. The program features Josef Rheinberger's Stabat Mater, Daniel Pinkham's Wedding Cantata, and University of Florida Professor and Composer Paul Basler's Songs of Faith. The concerts will feature the debut of the Vero Beach Choral Society Men's Ensemble, directed by Trinity Organist and Choirmaster Dr. Jason Hobratschk. Festival Singers of Florida in Concert at Trinity

Sunday,  April 22, 2012 - 3:00 p.m. , the Festival Singers of Florida will present Songs of Vigor - Songs of Play at Trinity. The Festival Singers of Florida is a highly select, auditioned choral ensemble consisting of forty-six singers from throughout Florida and is directed by Florida State University Professor Dr. Kevin Fenton. This varied program will include thrilling contemporary choral works by Eric Whitacre, Tarik O'Regan, Joan Szymko; lush settings of the hymns "Lord of the Small," "I know that my Redeemer Lives," and "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross" by Dan Forrest; and lighter fare from folk to jazz to bluegrass. Tickets are available at the door. Cost: Adults, $20.00; Students, $5.00.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION

On Sunday, April 22nd we will be recognizing the many volunteers that help to keep Trinity running. You will be amazed at the number of people it takes to make Trinity, Trinity! You may notice that many of our volunteers serve in multiple areas. We have something for everyone. This is a perfect time to see if one of these ministries calls to you.

A HOME FOR ASLAN

We are still looking for someone with a kind heart that would be willing to take in our office cat (Aslan). He is a very loving cat and needs a very loving home. If anyone in interested in providing a home for Aslan you can call the office at 567-1146 or come by the office anytime between 8:30 and 4:30 Monday through Friday.

Adults interested in being Confirmed, which is the formal way to join the church, are invited to contact Deacon Lew. Bishop Brewer will be here on June 10th to confirm and receive adults and children.
