HELP US HELP OTHERS
Once again, Food Sunday is upon us - and none too soon for those whose cupboards are bare!
Please remember that we are called by God to indeed be our brothers' and sisters' keepers, and to take their needs as our own. The Salvation Army needs staples such as canned veggies, rice, pasta, beans, instant potatoes, cereal - in short, if it has a shelf life, it is perfect.
Our goal is 500 pounds of food a month, and if each of us brings just a couple of packages of pasta and cans of vegetables, we can make that goal easily! Please help a family in need by generously giving to The Salvation Army food pantry!

CONFIRMATION CLASSES
On June 10, Bishop Brewer is scheduled to visit us.
At this visit, he will Confirm children and adults who wish to formally become members of The Episcopal Church, and he will officially "Receive" members of the Roman Catholic Church who wish to join our Church.
Deacon Lew will be holding classes to prepare those who wish to be Confirmed or Received, but we obviously need to know who those people are! We anticipate that the classes will be about one hour in length, and will be held during May, with a rehearsal on June 3rd. There will be NO TESTS, but you are expected to learn some things. Adults and children will be in separate classes, of course.
Please call the office to give us your name and contact information if this applies to you, so we can get in touch and begin planning details.
If any wish to be Baptized, we also need to get a move on that, too. Baptism is a requirement for Confirmation. |

BISHOP'S CONSECRATION SATURDAY MARCH 24TH
The Consecration of Greg Brewer as the Fourth Bishop of Central
Florida will take place at the First Baptist Church in Orlando, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 24th.
The First Baptist Church is located at 3000 S. John Young Parkway.
Everyone is invited to this historic event. Considering the large number of people expected, it is recommended that plenty of time be allowed for parking and getting to the church from the parking area.
It will be helpful to have an idea of the number in our contingent, so PLEASE send an email to Cris (CVaccaro@TrinityVero.org) soon. Car pooling is encouraged, so the sooner we know who plans to be going, the better it will be for all of us! Questions? Call the church office! |
