FOOD SUNDAYS
March 3rd & 4th are Food Sunday. In Florida, more than 800,000 people live in poverty, many of them children, according to the Daily Bread Food Bank. Those fighting hunger are hoping the community will open its hearts and cupboards this lenten season. When you are shopping for your holidays, think of those who would not have a celebration without your help. |

CONFIRMATION CLASSES
On June 10, Bishop Brewer is scheduled to visit us.
At this visit, he will Confirm children and adults who wish to formally become members of The Episcopal Church, and he will officially "Receive" members of the Roman Catholic Church who wish to join our Church.
Deacon Lew will be holding classes to prepare those who wish to be Confirmed or Received, but we obviously need to know who those people are! We anticipate that the classes will be about one hour in length, and will be held during May, with a rehearsal on June 3rd. There will be NO TESTS, but you are expected to learn some things. Adults and children will be in separate classes, of course.
Please call the office to give us your name and contact information if this applies to you, so we can get in touch and begin planning details.
If any wish to be Baptized, we also need to get a move on that, too. Baptism is a requirement for Confirmation. |
