HELP!
To date, we have not received any serious inquiries by anyone who is interested in adopting our Church Cat, Aslan.
As noted in our original plea for a loving family to adopt a loving cat, Aslan has Feline Aids, a condition that is absolutely harmless to other species (like humans or dogs) but is threatening to other cats. So if you already have a cat, you cannot take him. This means that he cannot be adopted out by the Humane Society of Vero Beach. Sadly, the only service available to Aslan at the HSVB is "end of life care."
Is there room in YOUR heart and home for Aslan? He truly is a very affectionate kitty, and he really needs someone to step forward. And, he comes with an astounding collection of toys, and all things necessary for cat ownership.
Please call either Diane or Cris at the church office - 567-1146.

LOST & FOUND
Some time back, we received a call asking us if we had found a lost black umbrella - a small, collapsible type. Well, it finally was found, but now we have lost the name and number. We have no way of calling.
Please call the church office, or come in to claim it!

TRINITY SEARCH COMMITTEE
Your Rector Search Committee is working on the completion of the Parish and Rector Profiles that the Diocese of Central Florida requires to compile a list of candidate recommendations. The comprehensive descriptive profile not only contains the Rector attributes you have prioritized but provides potential candidates with text and photos of the unique Trinity Campus and our wonderful Vero Beach venue. We plan to have this completed to present to Canon Ernie Bennett at our next meeting scheduled before the Shrove Tuesday pre-Lent festivities. This week we are having a professional photographer take pictures of the Trinity campus for the profile, our website and for use in printed materials advertising the position on a variety of Episcopalian publication websites. Using these it is planned to create a professional brochure all about Trinity. Watch for a new section on our trinityvero.org website to follow the Search Committee progress. We understand the urgency and importance of our task, and we want everyone to know that we're working with due diligence behind the scenes to find a Rector that will lead Trinity in both its spiritual and financial growth in the coming years.
