FOOD SUNDAY
FOOD SUNDAY weekend will be Feb. 4th & 5th. It is my hope that we will surpass our past generosity in helping those who need food for their lunch
and dinner table. Please take advantage of the grocery sales, and get extra boxes of cereal, rice, beans, and cans of veggies, hash, Spam, and similar staples that will alleviate hunger in our community. Thank you for remembering those in need!

MUSIC AT TRINITY
A Mohawk River Suite, 10 movements based on "Shall we gather at the River" and 9 other "river" songs, by Albany NY composer Alfred Fedak, will receive its first public performance Sunday afternoon, February 12, at 3 o'clock at Trinity.
The work was commissioned by friends of Trinity Organist & Choirmaster Emeritus Donald Ingram and bass-baritone Eugene Tobey, and presented at their annual 2010 Labor Day celebration on the bank of the Mohawk. They will be joined at Trinity by Marjorie Fulmer, flute, Jason Hobratschk & Ryan Kasten, piano and harpsichordist. |

ASLAN NEEDS A NEW HOME!
As you recall, Trinity took in a cat in need about a year ago. Aslan, named after the lion in The Chronicles of Narnia, is a special needs cat, and came highly recommended by a member of Trinity.

Aslan is a "special needs" cat because he has Feline Aids. This condition is NOT contagious to anything but other cats. The disease is spread between cats by bites or scratches. This means that he cannot be allowed outdoors, and cannot be placed in a home with other cats.
He really IS a nice kitty; but he cannot be taken in by the Humane Society nor can he be adopted out by them because of his health.
Is there a place in YOUR heart and in YOUR home for Aslan? He is very loving and thrives on human companionship. Please call the office (567-1146) if adopting Aslan would fill a need in your life! |
