THE "TRUE" MEANING OF CHRISTMAS?
Please join Fr. John as he is interviewed on the radio by Marcia Littlejohn for her Christmas celebration broadcast. During this 15 minute interview, Fr. John responds to the following questions: (1) What is the "true" meaning of Christmas? (2) What purpose is there for non-Christians in celebrating Christmas? and (3) Is there salvation for people other than through Jesus Christ?
The interview will be broadcast Friday (the 23d) at 9:00am on JB 1000 AM; Saturday (the 24th) at 8:00am on WTTB 1490AM; Sunday (the 25th) at 6:00am on WOSN 97.1 and 99.7; 9:00am at WTTB 1490 AM; and 11:00pm at 93.7.
2012 CONTRIBUTION ENVELOPES
The 2012 contribution envelopes are now available for pick-up in the Narthex of the church. For those who attend services in the Chapel, please write your name on the sheet in the Narthex and your envelopes will be available next Saturday in the Chapel. If you have not had envelopes in the past and would like them or do not find your name, please contact the office at 772-567-1146.
HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS
Our parish office will be closed all day on Monday, December 26th for Christmas and then will be closed at noon the rest of the week. We will also be closed on Monday, January 2nd for New Years.
FOOD SUNDAY
Food Sunday is January 8, 2012. It seems that all we have done is eat from Thanksgiving to today. Hunger and need don't stop for those who need help providing food for their families. Please remember those less fortunate and share your blessings.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES
Saturday December 24th
4:00 p.m. - Family Service with Eucharist and music (without choir)
7:30 p.m. - Music begins
8:00 p.m. - Eucharist with full choir and guest musicians (with incense and bells)
THURSDAY EUCHARIST AND HEALING SERVICE
Come join Fr. Jacobs every Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Chapel for the Eucharist and Healing service followed by his Bible Study in the Media Center at 11:00 AM. The topic for discussion is American religious groups and their beliefs. Coffee and treats will be provided.
We are looking for a few people who would be interested in ushering or being a door greeter at our Saturday and Sunday services. If you would like to volunteer be an usher, please contact Harry Taylor at 772-231-2129 or if you would like to be a door greeter, please contact Betsy Jacobs at 1-352-552-5120. You can also call the office at 567-1146.
PASTORAL CARE
If you or someone you know is ill, in the hospital or hospice, or a shut-in, please be sure to contact the church office and let us know so that we visit and minister to you.
