FOOD SUNDAY UPDATE
The Salvation Army has reported to us that the total weight of the food you brought over the Labor Day weekend totaled 265 pounds. This is up from the 225 we had given to the hungry the previous two Food Sundays. The Salvation Army food panty appreciates your generosity - thank you very much!

INAUGURAL CONCERT OF THE SPACE COAST
SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AT TRINITY
On Sunday, September 18, at 7:00p.m. Trinity will host the first of a series of concerts by the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra. The program, an "Opening Night Gala," includes Leonard Bernstein's Slava!, Dmitri Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1, and the beautiful Symphony in D Minor by French organist-composer César Franck. Tickets cost $20.00, and young people are admitted free. If ticket prices present a problem, come anyway! Under the SCSO's Symphony for Everyone program, you may attend and pay what you are able. Please come support what promises to be the first of a series of very exciting Music at Trinity events!
WITH MUSIC IN MIND
Regular rehearsals of the Trinity Episcopal Choir are on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Music Building. The Trinity Choir always welcomes new members.
The Trinity Handbell Choir rehearses on Wednesday, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Music Building. Trinity is hoping to grow this enjoyable and gratifying music ministry and is looking for additional members. The ability to read music is helpful but not required.
If you are interested in either the Trinity Episcopal Choir or the Trinity Handbell Choir, please contact Organist and Choirmaster Jason Hobratschk: jhobratschk@trinityvero.org or 584-1035.
VESTRY MEETING DATE
The Vestry Meeting has been changed from September 13th to September 20th at 5:30 p.m. and the Finance Committee Meeting has been changed to September 19th at 2:00 p.m.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Beginning September 18th, adults will have two choices for classes on Sundays at 9:00 am. Classes will be held in the Media Center and the Conference Room.
Fr. Jacobs will teach an Enquirer's Class for anyone new to Trinity or the Episcopal faith. It also serves as a great refresher course for long time Episcopalians. The class will run through the beginning of Advent when a new class will begin.
The second class for adults will be a discussion of denominations and other faiths looking at the differences and similarities among Christian faiths and the various Protestant denominations. It will also look at the beliefs of Mormons and Jehovah's Witness followed by a brief look at religions from other parts of the world.
YOUTH GROUP
Calling all Middle and High School youth! The newly-formed Trinity Episcopal Youth Group will meet at 4:30 p.m. TODAY (Sunday) in the Youth Building. Bring a friend! We'll watch a movie and Toni Houdyshell will lead a discussion. Don't miss out on this exciting, brand-new program!
BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS
This blessing will take place on September 18th when Trinity's children begin the Sunday School Year, and will be part of that Sunday's 10 am service. It will set the stage for the Children's Sermons that Fr. Jacobs will be offering twice a month. It's a wonderful way to involve the children of our parish in worship. After the children's sermon, the youngest of the children may leave for childcare while the older children may return to the pews to sit with their parents.
