THREE SUNDAYS IN JUNE
Just when so much seems to be slowing down, now that the excitement of May - with its graduations and the (postponed) Second Coming /end of the world - is behind us, "June is busting out all over" with three significant Sundays on our Church calendar.
This coming Sunday is Ascension Sunday, with its focus on Christ leaving the disciples as a commencement of their reliance on the Holy Spirit. The next Sunday is Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit - which was always there - is introduced to the disciples, with immediate and lasting consequences for the evangelism and salvation of the world. Then on June 19 - of special significance for our parish - is Trinity Sunday, on which we celebrate the one and only God who creates, saves, and inspires us as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Our liturgy, music, and fellowship on these three Sundays is intended to reflect the blessings we receive, as faithful observers and participants in a tradition that is alive and well and, well . . . Anglican!

INCENSE AND PENTECOST
Since next Sunday is Pentecost - one our four high feasts of the year - we will have incense at our 10:00 AM Service. The incense symbolizes praise to God, the Holy Spirit.

If you would like to sign up for flowers in honor or in memory of a loved one, please call Diane in the office at 567-1146 and she will sign you up. The price is $75.00 in the Church and $50.00 in the Chapel.
