Teaching in Italy!!

Join artists Kelly Rae Roberts (that's me) and Mati Rose McDonough for a week long art retreat in Tuscany, Italy!!!

Celebrating the release of Kelly's book (in which Mati is featured as a contributing artist), Taking Flight: Inspiration & Techniques to Give Your Creative Spirit Wings, we'll spend the week creating projects that incorporate our combined
knowledge and love for painting and collage. Projects will include
everything from patchwork collage paintings, to art journaling, to
working with acrylic and oil to create expressive paintings of your
own. We'll show you fun and easy techniques on how to work with various
mediums to achieve varying effects from layering to texture to emotion.
No matter where you stand in your creativity, we'll meet you where you
are, guiding you along the way. It will be a time for you to learn,
grow, play, and experience painting in Tuscany! It will be an inspired
time. A meaningful time. A week filled with paint, conversation,

 I listed a few brand new original paintings (as well as new prints/mattes) for sale in my online shop. More specifically, these five paintings are now available!
For those of you attending ArtFest next week, come and find me on vendor night where I'll have a few more originals for sale as well as many new prints and cards!

 Taking Flight: My book cover has been released! Take a peak at the cover and read a bit of the book's introduction here. I'll be taking pre-orders in the coming months! Hard to believe the release date is just five months away...
Cloth Paper Scissors: Please check out the current issue (Mar/Apr) where you can find my latest article. It's a technique article where I share my process on using personal affirmations in our artwork. The response to this article has been meaningful and heartfelt - thank you!
Stationery: Stationery products, including cards, journals, magnets, and stationery sets are set to debut in May 2008. So excited about this venture!
Other mentions: My work will be featured in several upcoming mixed media books, including LK Ludwig's newest book, True Vision: Authentic Art Journaling, and Cate Prato's book, Mixed Media Self Portraits.
