Humorist Bob Orben explains this 'conversation' with his son who was home from college for the holidays:
I asked him, "How are things going?"
He said, "Good."
I said, "How's the food?"
He said, "Good."
I said, "And the dormitory?"
He said, "Good."
I said, "They've always had a strong football team. How do you think they'll do this year?"
He said, "Good."
I said, "How are your studies going?"
He said, "Good."
I said, "Have you decided on your major yet?"
He said, "Yes."
I said, "What is it?"
He said, "Communications."
Sometimes, when it comes to telling others the story of Easter, we are too much like the son. Odd that God should leave you and me in charge of telling the most incredible story ever...but who else is there to share the Easter story? Though it may be somewhat outside your comfort zone, please invite someone to attend the Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and/or the Easter service with you.
