Mailing Packages Home

In an effort to help your camper get their extra luggage home, Culver is offering and encouraging early shipping. Most campers have more to take home than they arrived with at Culver because of extra clothing purchased at Culver or craft items made. Extra luggage cost is very high to take on flights. Shipping early will lighten the campers' load when flying, and create more room in the car when heading home.   

 

Luggage can be packed a couple of days before the end of camp and the campers can begin cleaning their quarters early!  Avoid over-stuffed suitcases and last minute frustration on how to get the valuable items home by taking advantage of the following options:

  

 

Culver's Post Office

 

Campers may use the post office at any time during business hours to ship packages home. 
Campers will need to use cash only to pay for shipping. International shipping should also have itemized lists of the contents and value of the packages. Please keep in mind that certain countries have size limitations. Campers can take their package to the post office and have it weighed to determine the amount to mail the package. Next, go to the cashier window and withdraw funds from the PDA account to pay for the shipping.

 UPS Shipping

UPS will be on site to help campers with mailing. They will have boxes available if campers need boxes and they can process credit cards if a camper has the parent credit card information.

They will be on main campus Thursday located in the Post Office parking lot on August 2 from 3:30 to 5:30pm and in Woodcraft at the parent lounge on Friday August 3rd from 1:00 to 4:00pm.

  

Counselors at Woodcraft will need to help get their campers mailings to the lounge and help them with the process of withdrawing funds from their PDA account to pay for the shipping or they can help the campers to call home and have the parent give the credit card information to the UPS staff. Woodcraft will have a couple of volunteers standing by to help with the process and phone calls to parents as needed.

  

Cashier Information

 

Parents can monitor their camper's PDA balance online so that funds are available for end of camp.  To avoid delays and assure availability of funds, parents should make all deposits online at the Online Payment Center or with the cashier by Thursday, August 2. If you need to contact the Cashier you may call her at 574-842-8229. If the cashier is busy when you call, please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Monday through Thursday, 12:15 to 1:45pm

Friday (Aug. 3rd) 9:00 am to 3:00pm

 

Upper Camp 

Monday through Thursday, 12:30 to 4:00pm

Friday (Aug. 3rd) 9:00 am to 3:00pm

 

Accounting Information 
Statements and Refunds
   

At the end of 6-Week Camp, any remaining funds in the Personal Drawing Accounts will be transferred to the Tuition Account.  Statements including tuition and any additional fees such as class fees, additional uniform, rentals, medical visits and supplies, transportation, lost keys and remaining Personal Drawing Account funds will be sent the end of August.  You can also view your statements online on NetCulver 

 

Refunds will be sent 30-45 days after camp ends. 

Camper Unit Photos Available
Unit and Individual photos will be available online

Unit, cabin and individual photos were taken of your Upper and Woodcraft campers. Your Woodcraft camper will be dressed in polo shirts and shorts. If you would like a formal portrait with their sashes or jackets you will need to schedule a professional portrait session. Your Upper Camper will have their photos taken in their dress uniforms.

Bunk Notes 
Send your bunk notes now so your child will receive them!
 
As camp is coming to a close we suggest you send your last Bunk notes a few days before the end of camp. When camp ends, we will be unable to deliver the Bunk notes to the campers. Please keep this in mind!

Time and location changes have been made to the Commencement Schedule. Please be aware of these changes when planning to come to Culver for the last few days of camp. Keep in mind when traveling that Culver is on Eastern Standard Time.
