Departing from Culver

Here in the transportation office we are busy working on your camper's departure on August 4th. If you have not mailed back your pink transportation card, please email uctd@culver.org with your child's departure information.
Please tell us if you are picking up your camper or if they are departing by air. If they are leaving by air, please give us the details of their departure from either Chicago O'Hare or South Bend Airport on August 4th only including airline, flight number, time of departure, recorder locator (which is a 6 character code e.g. DEWQKJ).

No Overnight Permits
There will be no overnight permits for the Woodcraft or Upper Camp this year. We hope that you understand that for the benefit of your child,we would like them to remain on campus all 6 weeks of camp. There will also be no overnight permits during Homecoming Weekend. We appreciate your willingness to cooperate with our policies. If you have questions about permit times during Homecoming Weekend or any other weekend of camp, please refer to the schedules on the Summer Daily Bulletin. |
Centennial Celebration Weekend
A special weekend for alumni, parents and guests
Homecoming weekend is right around the corner! This year the centennial celebration will take place July 20-22 where we will be celebrating the 100th year of the Woodcraft Camp. Please visit the Summer Daily Bulletin to register for Homecoming Weekend and the Centennial Celebration as well as see the special schedule. Bunk 1 Information
It is not too late to sign up! Bunk 1 allows you to see photos of your camper in various activities throughout camp. The website gives you a chance to view the photos, purchase them, and also purchase Bunk notes. Th bunk notes are a one way communication that you can send to your camper. Bunk 1 instructions were included in your acceptance packet, but if you have any questions you can contact the Summer Camp office at (574) 842-8300 or by email at bunk1@culver.org to sign up!

Culver Academies
Are you familiar with Culver's High School Program?
Culver Academies is a coeducational, college prep boarding school for boys and girls in grades 9-12. With cutting edge academic programs, competitive athletic and academic teams, almost limitless opportunities in the Arts, and an intentional leader and character development program, Culver Academies is one of the best whole person education schools in the country! The Admissions Counselors from Culver Academies are conducting application interviews for prospective applicants for the 2013-14 school year on campus during the summer. Interested Upper Campers need to stop by the Admissions Office, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm to make an interview appointment as soon as possible. If you would like your Woodcrafter (must be a rising 8th grader) interviewed while at camp, please email your child's name, camp division, and home address to Mr. Mark Galloway at gallowm@culver.org as soon as possible. An interview is one piece of an application to Culver Academies. To learn more about the application process, go to the Culver website and select the Admission tab. Applications for the 2013-14 will be available online September 1.

Parent Resources
Parents/guardians should become familiar with the Summer Daily Bulletin. It is a great resource and it is the central location for parents to find information this summer. All past communications sent to parents are both available on the Daily Bulletin.
