So Far Away

These days it is not uncommon to be cast in the role of a caregiver for a friend or relative who lives many miles away. Caregiving itself is time consuming. Long-distance caregiving can add a commute on top of the time involved and suddenly there are not enough hours in the day. Even more challenging is providing-or overseeing-the care for another when he or she is in another state, circumstances that make frequent commuting impossible.

NEW: LinkedIn Group for pension professionals
Introducing a new resource for attorneys, accountants, and actuaries who assist individuals with ERISA and non-ERISA pension issues or other retirement income concerns. Sandra Wisnewski, attorney with the Mid-America Pension Rights project, created a LinkedIn group as a way for professionals to connect and find solutions to pension questions.
