Fullerton Real Estate & Happenings December 2008 |
Greetings!
Thanksgiving is over and the holidays are upon us! There is lots going on this time of year and home sales have increased again in the local area compared to last year!
In Fullerton, Anaheim, Brea, Placentia and Yorba Linda combined, there was a total of 360 closed sales in November. Three of those, I am happy to say, were closed by yours truly!
November of 2007 only had a total of 172 closed. So, based on the past few months, we are keeping pretty steady with doubling the sales.
With the concerns about the economy and the holiday season approaching, things are a little slower. However, with the drop in the interest rates, lenders are getting busy! It might be a good time to refinance.
Along with the drop in rates, home prices continue their decline. Many of my first time buyers are feeling like home ownership is finally in reach. With the $7500 first time home buyer tax credit, negotiating costs to be paid by seller and other options, it is becoming easier to become a homeowner.
If you have questions about the market or about things going on in the Fullerton area, please let me know. I am happy to help and would appreciate the opportunity to earn your business!
Wishing you and yours a very Happy Holiday season filled with peace, love and joy.
