Many thanks to everyone who contributed almost $53,000 over the past 16 months for the new furnace. You may be interested in the fact that our winter season heating costs are already 15% lower with the increased efficiency of the new furnace. There is just a little work remaining on radiators and controls, so we expect the whole project will cost about $62,000. We have already raised over 85% of that cost, so it would be great to finish off the remaining $9,000. We will use that to pay down the furnace loan and reduce the real interest that we started to pay this year. We are hoping that this appeal letter will have you consider a special donation to pay down the the remainder of the furnace debt.
