Sunday, June 7th - Church Picnic
Join us for food, fellowship and fun at 4:00 p.m. at the Garafraxa Ball Field or at 1 Cedar Place. Potluck dinner at 5:30 where hotdogs and hamburgers will be provided. Bring lawn chairs, salad or dessert, drinks and your own dishes. You will need to RSVP so we can make sure we have enough burgers & hotdogs to go around. RSVP on the signup sheet in the auditorium, or by emailing the church office at westminster@westminsterorangeville.ca
Friday, June 12th ~ United Church of Canada Anniversary Formal
Please join us, at Westminster United Church, for a catered roast chicken dinner with a comedic presentation on the history of the United Church, followed by a dance. Starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets $25 each or $40 per couple. Deadline to purchase tickets: June 9th and are available through the church office. Anyone is welcome to attend!
Saturday, June 13th ~ Progressive Tea Party
A tour of 5 gardens in Orangeville. Come see what's on the other side of the fence. Refreshments will be served. New this year.... buy a ticket and get your name in a draw to have your garden as one of the stops! Get free advice as well as free cuttings! Tickets limited to 20 at $15 each. Saturday, June 20th ~ Summer Solstice Prayer Labyrinth
Join us at 7:30 p.m. to walk the prayer labyrinth as we walk the prayer labyrinth in celebration of a new season.
Saturday, June 27th ~ Clothing Depot
The Clothing Depot needs your help! People are needed to help in setting up on Friday night from 6-7:30 p.m. and/or to close up on Saturday from 10:30-noon. If you can help, please let the church office know.
