Sunday, April 5 - Palm Sunday ·10:30 a.m. Service with Communion and reception of new members by Confirmation/Baptism/Transfer of Membership, with Celebration Choir and special music by Phillip Quickfall on violin ·7:00 p.m. Presentation: The Gospel According to Mark (Freewill donation) About the show: Professional actor Matthew Gibson - named by The National Post as one of the best actors of 2004 - brings The Gospel According to Saint Mark to vivid life upon the stage. Gibson gives what is considered the oldest of the Gospels a dramatic two-hour solo performance, bring the text alive through a unique blend of storytelling and theatricality. The text of the performance is the entire Book of Saint Mark from the King James Bible of 1611. We have chosen to end the Gospel at Ch. 16 v. 8, which is traditionally considered to be the last verse written by Mark himself.

Wednesday, April 15 - Theatre Orangeville presents "Kiss the Moon Kiss the Sun". Tickets $10 through the church office. Only 25 tickets available so act quickly!!

Tuesday, April 21 - United Church Men dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. Cost $10/person Guest Speaker - Melissa Kovaks-Reid will tell us briefly about her work as Waste Management Coordinator in Dufferin County. She will also talk about her work in Indonesia with CALGAP to restore Waste Management Facilities and Programs following the Tsunami in 2004. Everyone welcome.
