One of my favourite quotes is from Galileo Galilei. "Truth: All truths are easy to understand, once they are discovered; the point is to discover them."
We have a fresh new year ahead of us. What truths will we discover? As a worshipping congregation, each Sunday we will come to discover more about the teachings of Jesus and the truths that he came to reveal. We will discover what God is calling us to do with our lives. We enter the season of Epiphany where the scriptures tell about the manifestation of God's light and love in the world. In the short days of winter, these scriptures bring light to our hearts, souls and minds. Many thanks to those who helped out at the church over the Christmas Season. Our services and benevolent acts were all to the glory of God! Blessings to you and yours for 2009 Rev.
