Sunday, November 23rd at 10:30 a.m. - The Blessing of the Children
During this intergenerational service, children will receive a blessing to remind and encourage them to know that they are children of God. All children are welcome. Baptism is not a requirement. Through light and water, through music and prayer there will be a time for all to reaffirm their faith in the teachings of Jesus. Come and find the calm in the midst of a busy world. Carlee Hughes as child soloist and Mercedes Maybee on the violin (recipient of the Orangeville District Music Festival 2008 most promising musician) will join the Celebration Choir in the presentation of a newly published "Kyrie" by Greg Gilpin. We will receive new members by transfer from other congregations. Contact the church office if you are interested in joining. |
