The February 2008 IMH Dispatch is full of great information regarding how you can get involved with CHD Awareness. February 14th is National CHD Awareness Day but this particular day can be difficult since Valentine's Day is also celebrated. We encourage you to choose a day in February and show your support by raising awareness for Congenital Heart Defects. This can be done by sending out a simple email to your familiy and friends with CHD statistics or your child's personal story. Just imagine if everyone told one person each day in February about CHD. IMH is providing brochures, pamphlets and balloons to help with this worthy cause. Go to www.itsmyheart.org for more information.

CHD Awareness Pamphlets

Have you wondered why there's not one piece of literature inside your pediatrician's office to educate about America's #1 birth defect, Congenital Heart Defects? The time is here to do just that!  The IMH Medical Advisory Board has been working hard and our first of many pamphlets has just been released to promote CHD Awareness throughout our community about CHD.
