UPDATE ON STEVE:
We are thrilled to report that Steve is still working away. Nexus 101 was officially finished last week and he will start work on Nexus 102 sometime next week. In the meantime he's working on commissions.

The pencils for 101 are finished! Now Steve is working on commissions, then onto 102. Once both books are completed we will be soliciting them again through Diamond with a definite release date. We're hoping to raise enough funds through Sponsorships to have 101 printed in time for San Diego.

Help Jaynelle Save Her Sanity
Become a part of the Rude Dude Army! Jaynelle's "TO DO" list is going on 5 pages. Realizing that she will NEVER get around everything, she's trying to find a few good recruits to give her a hand. If you're able to help with anything on the list send us an email at steve@steverude.com. - CONVERT MiniDV tapes to DVD for fans to download. These are mostly painting demos and will have sections that need to be edited out and most will have unusable audio.
- PODCASTS - Steve has taped some podcasts, but would like some help making them sound professional. Since Steve is technically challenged he recorded them directly onto old fashioned cassette tapes.
- MESSAGEBOARD - Our current messageboard has been overtaken by spammers so we've all but abandonded it. Even with the safeguards of entering the code, etc, we're still getting around 50 bogus new user requests per day and Lise and I together were spending half the day getting rid of spam. We'd like to set up another messageboard that can actually be functional and weed out more spammers or be able to bulk delete bogus accounts.
- LIVE CHAT - As most of you know, Steve is computer illiterate, but with some help from Jaynelle, he would love to do a live chat once a month or so. We're looking for someone to help us set that up.
- NEXUS ORIGIN - FlexiDisc to Video. I have MP3s for the Nexus FlexiDisc which is basically a dramatic reading of the Origin. We had one fan start it and he did a fantstic job, but it proved to be too time consuming. We had another professor interested in having his class use it as a semester project, but nothing has been decided there. If you're interested in turning the 20 minute MP3 into a video let us know!
- REDESIGN PRESS PAGE- I need someone to both keep up with posting new interviews and organize the page so it's not so boring.
