Rude Dude Productions Announces
NEXUS 100 WITH DIAMOND!
Phoenix, Arizona - February 18, 2008 -
For those of you who missed other updates, Nexus 100 was printed about a month ago, then reprinted because the printing quality was so bad.
Steve was
embarrassed that the print run had already been so delayed, but decided that he would
be even more embarrassed if the printing left his paintings looking muddy, so we had the printer reprint the entire run. I am pleased to announce that Diamond has picked up their copies of Nexus 100 today and it will hit stands in most areas next week Wednesday, February 27. If you ordered directly from us, we have asked that the early orders be shipped directly from Brenner immediately, and later orders will ship directly from us the day after they arrive here.
Thank you again for your support and we sincerely hope the 56 page Nexus 100 is worth the wait.
If you're waiting for the trade, expect it early 2009.

Auctions This Week
This week's auctions from Rude Dude Productions features the remaining pages from Nexus 100. Starting at $400 per page they include a copy of the full size pencils, a copy of Nexus 100, a copy of the S/N version when it's completed and any other special extras we used for promo. Those started yesterday and end on Sunday, March 2nd.
Thursday we will be putting up pages from Nexus 101 for the official sponsorship. These will include first choice of pages at the pencil/thumbnail stage plus all the usual extras (step by step updates, photos, in progress shots, thank you letter from Steve, etc). Those are all $900 and will be fixed price auctions with the exception of a double page spread that will be $1,800 - it's gorgeous!) Auctions start Thursday afternoon. Lots of great stuff going up so don't miss it!

Custom Sketch Offer!
While supplies last, if you purchase any of the Nexus Archives or the new Artist in Motion hardcover, Steve will do a custom sketch inside for only $100!
He will take any request, however, he prefers to draw a Rude Dude character.
These are convention quality sketches. Turn around is currently about 3-4 weeks. Steve will be doing them once he finishes the pages for Nexus 101.

MOTH FCBD
The Moth launch has begun! We'll be sending out postcards over the next 2 weeks to remind retailers to order the MOTH for FCBD. Last year several stores sold out of Nexus fast or didn't realize they had to actually order it to receive it.
Sometime in March/April we will have copies available for presale along with special editions to help cover printing costs.

Nexus on WOWIO
If you missed the Nexus FCBD issue or Nexus 99, no worries, they are available for FREE on WOWIO.com, just do a search for Nexus or Rude Dude Productions.
We will not release new books to WOWIO until they have been on stands for at least 6 months or are sold out. Nexus Origin is nearly sold out and will be going to WOWIO in the next month or two.
