Nick thought it would be really neat to be able to see a page come to life from thumbnail to fully inked stage, just like you can with Steve's commissions. The idea is to have fans SPONSOR pages at the thumbnail stage so we are able to pay our inkers, printers, letterer, diaper bill, etc in advance.
The complete cost of making a 32 page comic book comes out to about 850 per page if you're paying industry standard rates. That said, we've decided to offer Nexus 100 pages in advance from $700-1,200 per page.
All pages from the 11 page "All in Sundra" short story are also up for grabs. Steve STILL has 2 1/2 pages left to complete. This will likely be the first AND LAST story he ever paints, so this is your chance to grab one of the pages. Pages are going for $2,000 each and are done in watercolor on oversized bristol paper.

We
will also be including any promotional materials used for the book
(posters, postcards, etc). Many times these are not available for
direct order.
If you sponsor multiple pages you will receive
only 1 copy of the script and 1 thank you letter unless you specify
otherwise. You will receive 1 Signed and Numbered book for each page
sponsored.
For Nexus 100, most of the pages are already
completed. We still have copies of the pencils which will be sent to
you and we will keep you updated on the progress of the entire book.
Why sponsor a Rude Dude page?
The
sponsorship funds go directly into an account used to pay our staff
(writers, inkers, pencillers, etc), and mostly for the printing. This
will help ensure that Nexus, the Moth, and other Rude Dude books
continue to come out.
Can I combine this with an order from the Steve Rude store?
While
quite a bit of the funds raised from sales in the Steve Rude store are
used to support Rude Dude Productions, the sponsorship funds are used
exclusively to support Rude Dude Productions and funds go into a
separate account.
We are happy to combine shipping, however 2
separate payments need to be made if you are paying via PayPal. Direct
Visa/MC payments or Check/Money order payments may be combined into one
payment. Please contact us for assistance with combining an order.
