We began our affiliation with GlobalGiving in 2009 to raise funds for our B'nai Mitzvah Mission to Israel. That initiative was very successful and Cedar Village now has three projects on GlobalGiving:

• Enriching Lives of Elders (to benefit the Harkavy Fund by providing special concerts, programs, and classes for all of our residents)
• Making Dream Come True (to grant special wishes for our residents through our Chai Hopes Fund)
• Opening Minds Through Art (to provide materials for our very successful Opening Minds Through Art program for residents with dementia).

Beginning at 12:01 a.m. EDT on October 19, GlobalGiving will match at 30%, any donation made to one of our three projects. In addition to the 30% match, GlobalGiving is offering a $1,000 bonus to the project that raises the most funds that day and a $1,000 bonus to the project that receives donations from the most individual donors!
