Wednesday, March 16^th is Cedar Village's 14^th birthday and we have a special request to help celebrate this special day, 14 years after Cedar Village opened on March 16, 1997.  Global Giving, the international online marketplace for fundraising, has declared March 16^th as a Bonus Day (one day only).

We began our affiliation with Global Giving in 2009 to raise funds for our B'nai Mitzvah Mission to Israel.  That initiative was very successful, and now, we have currently three projects on Global Giving: 

• Enhancing Lives of Elders (to benefit the Harkavy Fund by providing special concerts, programs and classes for all of our residents).
• Making Dreams Come True (to grant special wishes for our residents through our Chai Hopes Fund).
• Opening Minds Through Art (to provide materials for our very successful Opening Minds Through Art program for residents with dementia).

 Any donations made to one of our three projects on Global Giving will be matched at 30% by Global Giving.
