Dear ,
We've successfully transitioned back from our Passover mode and find it hard to believe that this holiday is over for another year! With the spring weather accompanying the holiday we have had lots of folks enjoying the outdoors. Our Sensory Garden has been in use for individuals and for programs and it is going to be fun watching everything come back in bloom this first year since installation. Lots of great upcoming programs to note! On April 21, at 7 p.m. you are cordially invited to join us for a Family Meeting (others are welcome too!) to learn about new programs at Cedar Village, specifically Comfort Care and our rehab expansion. That meeting will be held in the Wilbur and Mary Jean Cohen Religious and Cultural Center. On April 22, we'll have a luncheon honoring all of our volunteers and thanking them for all that they do for our residents every day. And, of course, on May 2, we will recognize eight special individuals over the age of 80 at 8 Over 80, starting at 6 p.m. at Adath Israel. A little further into May, we have another special evening program that is open to the community. On May 6, at 7 p.m. in the Wilbur and Mary Jean Cohen Religious and Cultural Center we will host Fran Savard, regulatory director of AOPHA, our state organization. Fran is both knowledgeable and articulate about the health care changes heading our way and she will be updating all of us with this presentation.
