Dear ,
Is it possible that we have been back from Israel for a week? It always seems that you wait and wait for a trip like that to occur and then it is over in the blink of an eye. We had a long flight home, via Atlanta, but everything went well and everyone did beautifully. We all got our "second wind" when we walked into Cedar Village and were surprised by a "Welcome Home" reception and luncheon. We had residents, family members, volunteers and others all waiting to greet us, share hugs and ask us about the mission. We have had many conversations about the mission this week and are compiling our hundreds and hundreds of photos into a presentation we'll be sharing in the weeks ahead. Of course, our first presentation will be for our residents. We have so many photos posted here and know that many followed the trip closely. Now we want to tell the stories and share the very special moments that we were privileged to share. Watch for dates if you'd like to hear more! Don't forget to stop by the Friends of Cedar Village Gift Show and Sale on Sunday, November 1 at the Embassy Suites in Blue Ash. They'll be open from 11-4:30 and there are some great gifts for the holidays!
All the best,
Carol Silver Elliott
