Headed out of Haifa this morning, not quite ready to leave that beautiful city.  We headed to the grottos and Rosh Hanikrah  It is a very special spot and we were able to get into the grottos (with a little effort!) and see the beautiful rock formations and water.  We watched a film about the area as well and learned about its both ancient and more modern history.

 

After lunch in a nearby restaurant, we headed to Nof Ginosar, a kibbutz in the Golan.  We toured the museum of the ancient boat and marveled at that discovery.  Tonight we will spend the night at the kibbutz and we have another big day of touring tomorrow.

 

We had a great time watching ABC News, hope you saw it as well.  It's a delightful piece and really shows the spirit and energy of this mission.  It is such a joy to be here with each and every resident and member of the staff.  We can't wait to come home and share it all with all of you.
