There are no words to describe today' B'nai Mitzvah ceremony.  We hope that all of you have watched it and, if not, we hope that you will.  We had moments of joy, laughter and tears as we celebrated this achievement as a family and as a community.  The residents and the staff shared this special event under a bright Jerusalem sun and it was incredibly moving, incredibly powerful and a great gift.

 

The B'nai Mitzvah ceremony was followed by a festive luncheon and then we headed to the JNF Forest to plant trees--a fitting way to complete our B'nai Mitzvah day.  It was a perfect day and we thank all of you who have helped to make this possible.

 

We were also delighted to have lots of media attention for this wonderful accomplishment. We had reporters from the Associated Press with us, as well as Israel National Radio and The Forward.  You can read the AP story in the Enquirer tomorrow or through the link below. We also were thrilled to have a crew from ABC News who spent the day with us and will come with us to Masada tomorrow.  We understand that there will be a segment on Good Morning America this weekend--we're not sure what day yet but if we find out, we will let you know.  If not, we hope you will watch both days!
