Understanding the brain's "story" Two innovative and collaborative (think Neurology + Ophthalmology + Psych + Computer Science + Engineering) studies at the Brain and Vision Research Laboratory in Building 500 are examining the links between the eyes and the brain. One aim: gain a better understanding of the mysteries of Alzheimer's disease.

Hospital steps it up again Bruce Schroffel helped kick off the fifth phase of "Step into Gear" with a brisk walk around campus. Hundreds of employees will don pedometers, count steps and generally pump up their activity levels. The six-week program begins June 14.
