WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

Women's History Month was introduced by the National Women's History Project with the goal of ensuring that information about the myriad of ways women have changed America would be part of our children's education. TurnAround is always looking for new methods of prevention and awareness around issues of domestic and sexual violence; with learning about the history of women's tenacity, courage, and creativity throughout the centuries is a tremendous source of strength and a way to empower those who have fallen victim to sexual assault and domestic violence. Knowing women's stories provides essential role models for everyone. And role models are genuinely needed to face the extraordinary changes and unrelenting challenges of the 21st century.

"Physical strength in a woman, that is what I Am."

~Tina Turner
