SECOND CHANCES

If you missed the LA Greek Festival or the Long Beach Lobster Festival last weekend.... This weekend you'll have a second chance at the Pasadena Greekfest and/or the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival. And of course the LA County Fair continues all month.

SUMMER ISN'T OVER YET. It's still hot and there are still plenty of cool events:

Shark Lagoon Nights at the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Save a dog-get a haircut in Venice.

Cool jazz at the Earthfest LA Jazz Concert for the Environment in Culver City.

Once Upon a Canyon Night Paula Poundstone at TreePeople's Coldwater Canyon Park.

BARGAINS: the Eye Spy LA Discounts page is full of great deals for interesting entertainment and activities. These discounts are offered directly from the event and activity producers and so do not have the extra ticketing fees that other discount ticketing services may charge you.

TIP: you can find events and other things to do near you - you'll find neighborhood and regional calendar links at the bottom of all Eye Spy LA web pages.

Cultural Festivals - fun, food, dancing and entertainment. Last week's LA Greek Festival
was all of that and more according to Victor Johnson (who took these photos for Eye Spy LA).

STOVALL'S SPACE AGE INN OF TOMORROW, ANAHEIM, 1972

by Charles Phoenix

How much are we all loving those astro piņatas orbiting alongside that inner galactic galaxy of hanging lamps? They mix and mingle so well with that big blue futuristic video game, early automotive kit craft wall art and pea green armadillo sniffing the beautiful blue green shag carpet. Those blue and green hoops and bubbles glued on the bannister and front desk don't disappoint either.

When it comes to tomorrow, more is more....
