MAY DAY, MAY DAY: NATIONAL TRAIN DAY & MOTHER'S DAY

National Train Day LA Saturday is National Train Day in Los Angeles (11am - 4pm) at the historic Union Station. Get there early if you want to board any of the train cars on display. This year they will not be ticketing, so you'll just get in the line to go inside the cars. No hastle: Metro Gold and Red Lines drop you off right inside the event. There will be plenty of displays, entertainment and kids activities and you'll be able to go into areas of Union Station that are not usually accessible to the public

Also on Saturday:

LA Microbrewery Festival near LAX

Armenian Food Fair & Fest in Montebello

Learn Primative Fire Making at Temescal Gateway Park

Sunday is Mother's Day - check the Sunday Calendar for things to do.

There's more of course. See all of this week's Editors Picks or view the full Eye Spy LA Calendar

TIP: you can find events and other things to do near you - you'll find neighborhood and regional calendar links at the bottom of all Eye Spy LA web pages.
