National Park Pride, Zion, 2011

Being more of a gentleman about town than a nature boy, I don't usually find myself scampering around National Parks. But, last week, destiny delivered me to Zion in southwest Utah. And was I ever glad it did!

The unexplainable grandeur of Zion is so intense I'm sure even Kodachrome couldn't capture it. The ancient day-glo coral-colored cliff walls, lime green leaves of Cottonwood trees sparkling in the sunny breeze and raindrop water falls, where surprise fern grottos grow and rainbows happen, had me dancing in my hiking boots...
