BBQ NIRVANA at BBQ BONANZA THIS WEEKEND
I had a chance to go to the BBQ Bonanza Festival Thursday night - no disapointments. The BBQ was as top notch as I had hoped from all five of the award winning grillers that were there. Admission is $5 and you'll get $2 of that toward food purchases priced in the $5 -25 range. Take a group so you can share and sample it all. The festival runs all weekend at a very nice park in Fountain Valley. There's plenty of entertainment, dancing, and other vendors as well.
I sampled only the ribs from each of the grillers, but they all offer an array of meats and side dishes for you to sample. TIP: take a folding chair and maybe a picnic blanket for the grass (no outside food/beverages allowed). The festival has table seating but you may want to park yourself in front of the stage, nosh on bbq all day while enjoying the entertainment.
