OAXACAN FOOD, ICE CREAM AND RASPADO TASTING AT GUELAGUETZA AND NATURA BAR
By Abby Abanes
One of the things I love about running my dining group, Pleasure Palate, is being able to introduce my members to cuisines they may be unfamiliar with as well as to restaurants I enjoy dining at. That's why when I set up a Oaxacan Food, Ice Cream and Raspado Tasting at both Guelaguetza and Natura Bar, it was a win-win situation for all...

CICLAVIA - THE RECREATIONAL CAPITAL OF L.A. FOR A DAY by Andrea Kirk
It was an incredible day in L.A. The weather was perfect, the air was clear, and everyone that came down to CicLAvia was full of cheer. Who'd a thunk that Downtown L.A. would/could be a center for recreation. I strapped my Flip onto the handle bars of my too seldom used bicycle and wobbled & weaved through the streets of L.A. to capture some of the sheer joy of this event.
The next CicLAvia is planned for July 10th.
