FIREWORKS!
OOH AAH - FIREWORKS! In our safety obsessed society, where no hang nail goes unlitigated, normally cautious people become momentarily unhinged with delight at the thought of lighting up a hot, sparkly, multicolored, illegal incendiary device on Independence Day. DON'T DO IT. Go to a public event - there are so many to choose from and many of them are free.
North, South, East & West, Eye Spy LA has compiled an extensive list of this year's festivities. You'll find our editorial staff favorites and many others along with tips for getting the best views on this year's FIREWORKS page.
YAY! Its a long weekend and there is more to do than just watch the fireworks. - Pignic anyone? Have a tofu hot dog at Animal Acres where chickens sunbath, cows kiss and pigs demand a belly rub.
- Dance Downtown - Friday night learn Bollywood/Bhangra - free lessons.
- Saturday you can watch as folks Dribble with the L.A. Sparks outside Staples Center on Chick Hearn Court
You don't need to wait until Friday to find out what to do each week. Visit the Eye Spy LA homepage anytime for the latest news, features and reviews updated daily.
Or just visit the Eye Spy LA Calendar and explore all the event & activity options this week and beyond.
