you laughing this weekend.SPORTS fans: it isn't ALL about the Lakers - how about
All Star Roller Derby or a Paddleboard and dory competition? Or get off your duff and Hunt for Pubs in Venice Beach - that shouldn't be too

For those who have seen this play numerous times, this production offers a clever and intriguing twist to a classic that makes the importance of playing Earnest less important than how they play them... A HOT MESS: MACBETH3 - A staple of the festival is Lisa Wolpe's ambitious three-hander adaptation of "Macbeth," hence the title played by an all-male cast. For those who find this tragedy sacrosanct to generous pruning and liberal licenses, brevity is not the main issue here. Wolpe's streamlined version is laudable, only occasionally perplexing in its psychological hairpin turns accomplished in a mere hour for such a dense and complex drama... READ THE REVIEW
