Join internationally acclaimed documentary photographer Martin Parr for an intimate look at his Picturing the South commission project, Up and Down Peachtree. The evening will begin with a screening of Neal Broffman's new multimedia documentary, which captures Parr in the act of making photographs in and around the city of Atlanta.

Outside The Frame is a showcase of photo-based works from forward-thinking photographer-artists. You'll find mixed media, video, photo-sculptures, installations, light boxes, and conceptual works. CHERNOBYL: ZONE OF EXCLUSION

All images © Philip Grossman Photographer Philip Grossman shares his photos and experiences from his recent journey to the Chernobyl Nuclear Complex, the site of the world's worst nuclear accident. During Philip's four day excursion into the Zone of Exclusion, he was able to gain unfettered access to 30 separate locations, including an abandoned children's summer camp, vehicle graveyards, kindergartens and schools, the interior of the never completed reactors 5 and 6, as well as extremely rare access to the control room of reactor 4, the site of the nuclear catastrophe.

The Airport Show is a special event showcasing the very best work of APG photographers to be exhibited and promoted during Atlanta Celebrates Photography. The Airport Show will consist of 7 single artist exhibitions in the central atrium of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. There is no theme. Submissions should consist of a minimum of 6 images that work together as a group as well as being strong individual images. Submit up to 12 images on CD.Airport Show Entry Form HERE
Deadline for Entries: September 15th, 2012
Show Dates: September 28th - November 10th, 2012 Juror: Jane Jackson, Director of the Sir Elton John Photography Collection Juror Jane Jackson would like to see new work taken since 2010. Jane will look for a variety of styles, subjects and techniques to curate a dynamic exhibition showing during Atlanta Celebrates Photography. Submit 2 - 4 framed photographs. ACP Exhibition: Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, "Picturing Georgia"If you'll be traveling through the new international terminal in the next year, be sure to check out the current installation, "Picturing Georgia."
