Henri Cartier-Bresson Exhibit at the High Museum of Art

Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908 - 2004) is considered one of the most accomplished figures in the history of photography. While traveling the world with his hand-held camera, he straddled the divide between art and photojournalism with his unforgettable photographs. After first opening at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, this traveling exhibition containing over 250 prints, and spanning more than 30 years of his career, makes its way to Atlanta after being shown at the Art Institute of Chicago and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

In recognition of this exhibition, APG has designed a program for members to get to know this beloved and influential photographer throughout the month. So grab a pen, pull out the calendar, and let APG guide you in making the most of this notable event in Atlanta....

Jane Robbins Kerr

In addition to Jane's many published photos, her series, "Seeing Red," can be seen at the main gallery at Delta State University. The exhibit runs through March 31st.

"Red...the color of life, energy, passion, danger, courage. I have chosen red because even a tiny bit of the color in a photograph brings new life to the image. Red travels the world crossing cultures, beliefs, old taboos. Today I feel the infusion of life in these  simple photographs. I am seeing Red!" - Jane Robbins Kerr.
