Marketing in Minutes
To Capitalize or Not? Are email addresses case sensitive? Short answer: Technically yes, but it doesn't matter as it's not enforced by most ISP's. Meaning, [email protected] is the same as [email protected] is the same as [email protected].Long Answer: Each email address has three parts. The part that comes before the "@" symbol is called the "local mailbox" or your ID. The "@" part and the part after the "@" symbol are collectively known as the domain. The domain portion (most often your company name) is case insensitive (it doesn't matter). The local mailbox portion or the part before the @ symbol is case sensitive. However, because of the confusion this would cause to all the sweet little grandmothers that set up their emails with the CAPS LOCK on, or the teenagers trying to be cool, or the rest of you who just don't know any better, the ISP's (Internet Service Providers) rarely enforce case sensitivity. So feel free to email me at [email protected] or [email protected] or [email protected] because all three will make it to me.

Blue Jacket Bonanza FFA Jacket Giveaway
FFA holds a very dear place in our heart for many reasons, so it gives us great pride to launch the Blue Jacket Bonanza. The Santa Barbara County Farm Bureau created this program and shared it during the idea exchange at the American Farm Bureau Convention. We loved it so much, we decided to bring it to Florida. The pride a young person feels when they zip up their very own blue jacket is special and we want more students to have the opportunity to share that feeling. Therefore The Market Place is creating the TMP Blue Jacket Bonanza to allow FFA students to apply for their own FFA jacket. Two jackets will be awarded in 2012. The jackets will be awarded based on community service, leaderships skills and a commitment to the FFA. The deadline to apply is April 27, 2012.

TMP Client Spotlight Florida Agriculture Center and Horse Park
Recently the Florida Horse Park Foundation hosted a fundraiser that brought Kate Chenery Tweedy, daughter of Secretariat owner Penny Tweedy, to Ocala. In addition to her personal insights on the life and times surrounding Secretariat, there was a wonderful tour given by GoldMark Farm owner Paul Bulmahn.
