Try adding videos to your web site to drive traffic...

Would you like to drive more traffic to your web site?  Videos are an affordable way to do just that.  Perhaps you'd like to showcase a new product or just provide additional information.  Videos are a great way to keep your site fresh, archive information and keep visitors coming back.

"In a not-too-distant past, web video occupied the lowest rung on the ladder. That is to say, it was surpassed in quality by every other type of video distribution; cable TV, local broadcast, DVD and heck, even VHS tape was better. Now web video occupies a new space - one all its own - even surpassing the other forms of distribution. With its meteoric rise in popularity and quality, video is only a high-speed internet connection away." - Andrew Burke, Videomaker Magazine

Florida Ranch Family Moves to Missouri -  New Ranch, New Web site!

rocking zThe Sauls Family, a long-time dairy farm family and successful Angus cattle breeders, recently moved to the beautiful area of Mountain Grove, Missouri.  They are continuing their ranching tradition by taking their commercial cattle skills and adapting them to a local market.  Their new web site, RockingZBeef, will soon feature online ordering options.  Family members visit local farmers markets and sell individual cuts of beef, all the while educating consumers on nutrition and cooking practices.

TMP Extreme Web Makeover!
extremeimageDoes your Web site need an Extreme Makeover?    Do you have broken links, an infestation of dancing icons or perhaps a site that you've outgrown?

Well, you are in luck.  The Design Team of The Market Place (TMP) is currently taking applications for an  Extreme Web Makeover.  TMP, a marketing and communications firm that specializes in agricultural web design and video production, along with a host of other marketing services works almost exclusively with agricultural businesses in Florida and the Southeast.

TMP has had several very interesting entries and while preference will be given to an agricultural entity, they've even had an entry from an American Olympic Bobsled Team.

In addition to a free design and development of their site, TMP will host their site for free for one year. Businesses or organizations wishing to apply for the TMP Extreme Web Site Makeover can go to The Market Place website to review criteria and complete an application.

The application process will be open through July 31, 2009 and the recipient will be notified by mid-August.

Heartland Real Estate Corporation (HREC), a leading real estate brokerage and development firm in Sebring, recently had TMP redesign their site.  HREC specializes in conservation easements, transfer of development rights and property/land management.

HREC is owned by Jimmy Wohl.  In 2008 they were the top-selling real estate agency in the area with sales of more than $117 million in residential, agricultural and commerical real estate.

In 1994, Jimmy was recognized for his exemplary land management and environmental stewardship efforts by the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, the Florida Cattlemen's Association and the National Cattlemen's Association. During a trip to New York City, he represented Florida during editorial board visits with Newsweek, Time, Life, New York Times, United Press International and the National Audubon Society to discuss environmental stewardship practices and land management in Florida. In 2009, he was asked to speak at the National Association of Conservation Districts in New Orleans at their Annual Meeting.
